We collectively made a spotify playlist for The 405 blog's Advent Calendar. It's quite eclectic, and none of us know what the songs sound like together, because none of us have spotify, but we hope you enjoy it. You can see it here:

Clash Track of the Day. .
Apparently our Ep is 'buoyed by a rare grace', although it is also 'weighed down by a deep sense of British identity'. For more on these weight-related metaphors and other compliments see the following:

Goodbye Tour. .
So tour's over, as of last Sunday. Huge thankyou to everyone who let us stay in their houses, all the promoters who put us on, and everyone who came to gigs, we had a pretty ace time. Mariner's Children were uniformly amazing, (as was their Ep Launch thursday night at the Luminaire). This is us and them with a horse and a dog:

Tour part 1
So, playing brighton tonight, which concludes part 1 of tour. Currently sitting in a sunny kitchen drinking tea with a dog named Darcy.
So far it's been pretty ace, highlights include, but are not limited to:
Scenery; various beautiful areas of Britain viewed through the few bits of window not obscured by instruments and band clutter.
Dancing, in a variety of locations, most of it pretty enthusiastic/special, (including knee slides and the occasional pile on).
An admittedly lame but improving 'tour beard' on my part.
An acoustic session on a fire escape in Manchester, all wrapped up in big coats.
Autumn. Phoar.
Photo shoot next to a horse at TM's parents house in the Norfolk countryside.
A drunken blues jam in a wendy house.
BBC Online Introducing session in the Bicycle Shop in Norwich, which is a very nice place.
Really good crowds of people pretty much everywhere we've been, which is really really good.
More soon.

Tour!!
Yes indeed. Tour starts today, 1st gig is in York, then Leeds, Manchester, Norwich, Brighton, then a little break, then Bristol, Falmouth, Exeter and Oxford. . We're all a little bit excited. .
Also, we made some videos of us playing songs from the new Ep in Greg's warehouse, with lamps, and a slide projector, more on those soon. .
In other news i've been sick, quite a lot, (boo). But i did manage to cycle 40 miles on saturday to look at an old house (http://www.strawberryhillhouse.org.uk/), which was probably not terribly sensible, what with spending most of the important pre-tour practice the previous day lying under a duvet listening to Becca making wierd noises with a cello anda loop station (yes, loop station, how post-rock). .

New song up on our Myspace & New Band of the Day
So follow this link to our Myspace, if you like, and you can listen to 'Dust Disturbed', a track from our new EP.
According to Guardian online, its "as good as anything we've heard this year". As you can imagine, that made us pretty damn happy. You can read the whole review here:
